Legal Advice: The librarians and library staff cannot give legal advice. If you are not an attorney and you are attempting to deal with a complex legal issue, we strongly advise you to speak with an attorney familiar with the legal area in question. The Chicago Bar Association has a referral service to match prospective clients with an attorney.

Document Delivery: The library does not have a document delivery service. While members of the public are welcome to come in and use the library's resources, we do not have the staff or resources to respond to telephone, fax, e-mail or other type requests for documents, other than for DePaul College of Law faculty.

Privacy and Confidentiality: The Rinn Law Library respects your privacy and considers all reference transactions confidential. To help us accurately assess both the quality and quantity of service, however, the reference staff will maintain a database of the questions we receive and the answers we provide.
